Information concerning visa requirements for those wishing to travel to the UAE has been listed below, however visa regulations and costs are subject to change and should always be checked with your travel agent or nearest UAE embassy before travelling . Do not overstay your visa as this will result in detention and fines.
For a longer stay the following nationalities do not require a visa to travel to the United Arab Emirates as they can obtain it upon arrival. The visit visa will be stamped directly in the traveller’s passport by immigration officials at the port of entry and is valid for 30 days:
Malaysia, Brunei, United Kingdom, Andorra, Japan, Canada, San Marino, Hong Kong, United States, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Monaco, Vatican, Singapore, South Korea.
The visa is extendable for the similar period of 30 days as the total period after extension will be 60 days from date of entry including the entry & exit date.
List of countries to obtain visa upon arrival for 90 days only.
France, Italy, Holland, Sweden, Finland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech, Lithuania, Iceland, Norway, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Greece, Poland, Estonia, Malta, Cyprus, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Latvia.
Citizens of the above mentioned countries can obtain the visa upon arrival valid for 90 days from date of entry with their normal passports.
The visa is not extendable at all.
GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council Countries): Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait.
All citizens of other nationalities not mentioned above require Visa prior to arrival.

Valid passport : Passport should have a minimum validity period of 6 months
1 passport-size, colour photograph with white background.
